Hey there new dashboard!

It’s finally here!

I get a few emails every day asking to be able to track goals that have steps along the way. It’s one of the original Accompl.sh features that hadn’t made it into the new version yet because I wanted to make sure it was done right.

And now it’s done! Starting today you can add a progress bar to any of your goals.

If you’d like to add a progress bar to any of your existing goals, just head to that goal page and click “Add a progress bar.” It’s that simple.

Head on over and give it a try.

As always, I’d love your feedback!

Changes are coming!

Accompl.sh is getting a facelift. With the coming of a new year, I’ve been tinkering away at an all new Accompl.sh experience - rebuilt from the ground up to provide a simple, clean, bug-free community to help you track your goals.

On Friday, Dec 20th, all logins will be disabled and you’ll need to create a new account. Please save your goals and any other information you’d like to keep before then. Data will be saved for an additional 15 days just in case you don’t back up in time.

If you’d like to get a head-start at transferring your goals to the new site, we’re getting it ready at beta.accompl.sh. Feel free to sign up now and anything you add there will be transferred over in the move.

If you have any questions, please get in touch: jenn {at} accompl.sh. Or tweet @accomplsh.

See you there! -Jenn

Hearts Abound!

In honor of Valentine’s week, we’ve sprinkled some hearts around the Explore page, making it easier for you to show your support for other Accompl.sh members! Yay for spreading the love!

And speaking of love! There’s a new Challenge just in time for Valentine’s Day! 52 Love Notes sounds like a great way to win over the hearts of your loved ones, don’t you think?

Have a lovely week!

Your Challenges - Just One Click Away!

We know Challenges are one of your favorite parts of Accompl.sh, so we’ve made it even easier for you to monitor and access your current Challenges!

Now, as soon as you log in, you’ll be able to see your current Challenges and your progress in them right on your Dashboard! Just a quick click on the Challenge name and you’ll be swept away to your Round so you can update your progress or catch up on the comments!

There are more Dashboard changes coming soon! And we’re all ears! Leave your suggestions in the comments below!

Own your list!
Until now there’s been a mish-mash of information about you on your list and goal pages. Sometimes your photo was there, sometimes there were links to your twitter account, sometimes just your name! It was a bit of a mess, I admit!
Now everyone has these shiny new profiles on your list and goal pages! You can add a little bio about yourself, where you’re from, links to your twitter and website and your name. Just head over to your Settings to update your info.
Another new bit on these mini profiles is a progress indicator! This takes into account ALL of your goals on the site and how you’re doing on them. Past years, multiple lists - they’re all included! So make sure you keep that red to a minimum!
I’d love to hear what you think!

More Control Over Your Lists

Having multiple lists on Accompl.sh just got a little bit easier. Now, instead of having to choose one privacy option for all of your lists, you can control your privacy on a per-list basis.

The new control is located right at the top of your list where you’ve always been able to see that list’s privacy. Just click the “change this” link and you’ll be able to choose your new preference for that particular list.

The old list privacy setting on your Settings page has been sent to retirement. Farewell old, clunk, inflexible privacy setting. You served us well.

This new preference lets you choose whether you’d like each list to be visible by everyone (public), just by you (completely private), or, if you prefer to moderate who has access to your list, you can set it to only be visible by the people you choose to follow!

There’s plenty more to come over the next few weeks. Stay tuned!
